Chief Black Belt Instructor Joseph Buhain


Chief Black Belt Instructor Joseph Buhain holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in ATA Tae Kwon Do. He currently trains in Tae Kwon Do, Kali and Mixed Martial Arts.


He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, Bachelors in Heath Care Administration, and Associates in Cardiopulmonary Sciences and currently a licensed Respiratory Therapist with over 20 + years in the Health Care Field. He is a graduate of the Army Basic Training Program, Battle Staff Command and Non-commissioned Officers Program in the United States Army with over 15+ years in Combat Experiences including several tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as a combat medic identifying field trauma skills and combat tactics.

Senior Black Belt Instructor Dawn Buhain


Senior Black Belt Instructor Dawn Buhain holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in ATA Tae Kwon Do and is a certified Tae Kwon Do Instructor. She is currently training in Tae Kwon Do and Self Defense Tactics for Women.


Dawn holds a Doctorate degree in Education, A Masters Degree in Nurse Anesthesia and Bachelors in Nursing. Dawn is currently licensed in Minnesota as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Certified Instructor Nick Deutschmann


Nick is 35 years old and has been married 13 years with 3 kids (7, 5, 18 months). All children currently training with ATA Martial Arts. Nick has 2 years martial arts training in 1989-1991 with ongoing training with Singewald's ATA Blackbelt Leadership Academy. Certified Instructor Training Started in April of 2009. Nick won 1st place in Form, and 2nd place in Sparring at the Regional Tae Kwon Do sessions in April of 2009. Nick enjoys Dirt Bike Racing and Mountain Bike Racing while not training in the gym.


Junior Instructor Mike Leighton


Junior Instructor Mike Leighton holds a colored belt and is a CIT Instructor.
