Buhain Martial Arts Academy has several unique programs for a variety of purposes, ranging from basic martial arts, to self defense, to esteem and life skills building and much, much more. The American Tae Kwon Do Association has developed programs for all ranges in identifying, studying and developing Martial Arts Skills through Songahm Tae Kwon Do. These programs are set to deliver not only linear strength and training but yet a self-motivating attitude throughout your daily life.
Chief Black Belt Instructor Joseph Buhain holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in ATA Tae Kwon Do. He currently trains in Tae Kwon Do, Kali and Mixed Martial Arts.
He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, Bachelors in Heath Care Administration, and Associates in Cardiopulmonary Sciences and currently a licensed Respiratory Therapist with over 20 + years in the Health Care Field. He is a graduate of the Army Basic Training Program, Battle Staff Command and Non-commissioned Officers Program in the United States Army with over 15+ years in Combat Experiences including several tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as a combat medic identifying field trauma skills and combat tactics.
Senior Black Belt Instructor Dawn Buhain holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in ATA Tae Kwon Do and is a certified Tae Kwon Do Instructor. She is currently training in Tae Kwon Do and Self Defense Tactics for Women.
Dawn holds a Doctorate degree in Education, A Masters Degree in Nurse Anesthesia and Bachelors in Nursing. Dawn is currently licensed in Minnesota as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
